The UC Berkeley Program in Medieval Studies is proud to announce a new series: The colloquia will be held once a month, and will feature the work-in-progress of graduate students and faculty in the Medieval Studies Program. The colloquia are designed to maximize audience participation, and each presenter will make available in advance the work to be discussed so that the colloquium isn't a primarily a listening experience but rather an on-going conversation. This will be posted in the resources section of the b-Space for the Medieval Studies Graduate Colloquium approximately 10 days before the event. |

One of King Edwin's advisers describes a sparrow flying through the hall. Bede, Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum, II.13
