To start off the new semester, GMB would like to invite you to join your fellow medievalists for a drink at Beckett's Pub on Shattuck.  The date for this event will be Thursday, January 28th at 7:30pm, following Vincent Gillespie's lecture.

The gathering will primarily be social, but we'll be happy to field any questions concerning reading groups or GMB events between drinks!

See you there!

A dose of medieval . . .

Pisces dicti unde et pecus, a pascendo scilicet. Reptilia ideo dicuntur haec quae natant, eo quod reptandi habeant speciem et naturam; quamvis se in profundum inmergant, tamen in natando repunt.
